A Message of Deep Condolence from Alhaz GK Mushahid,  Chairman, We Want World Peace Organization

It is with profound sadness that I extend my heartfelt condolences on the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, who passed away peacefully on 28 August 2026 at the age of 89.

King Harald V was not only a respected monarch but also a deeply human and compassionate leader who dedicated more than 35 years to serving the Norwegian people. He will be remembered as a “People’s King”—a monarch who brought the Crown closer to ordinary people through humility, openness, empathy and genuine human connection.

His Majesty’s response to the tragic terrorist attacks in Norway in 2011 remains one of the most powerful examples of moral leadership in times of darkness. His message of courage, unity and freedom reminded the world that fear must never be stronger than our commitment to peace and humanity.

King Harald also stood for a modern and inclusive society, embracing diversity, tolerance and respect among people of different backgrounds and beliefs. His dedication to Norway, his commitment to environmental protection, and his service to humanity made him a remarkable figure of our time.

His contributions, support and commitment to the service of humanity, as well as his dedication to peace and human dignity, will forever be remembered by people around the world with profound respect and gratitude.

May the legacy of King Harald V continue to inspire future generations to choose peace over conflict, unity over division, compassion over hatred, and humanity over fear.

His Majesty may have left this world, but the values he represented will continue to live in the hearts of people around the world.
