As Emir of Qatar from 1995 to 2013, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani laid the foundations of modern Qatar. Through his visionary leadership, the country harnessed its vast natural gas resources, strengthened its economy, and emerged as one of the world’s highest-income nations. His commitment to sustainable development, strategic investment, and national progress reshaped Qatar’s future and elevated its standing on the global stage.
