On the occasion of the blessed Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt greetings to Muslims around the world.
After a month of spiritual reflection, discipline, and sacrifice during Ramadan, nearly two billion Muslims are now celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr. This sacred occasion is not only a time of joy, but also a reminder of compassion, unity, and our shared responsibility toward humanity.
While we celebrate, my thoughts remain with millions of innocent people affected by ongoing conflicts in Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and across the Gulf region. Countless lives have been lost, families have been displaced, and entire communities continue to suffer due to prolonged violence and instability. These heartbreaking realities remind us that true peace is still a distant goal for many.
As an artist, inventor, and peace advocate, I strongly believe that creativity and culture have the power to unite humanity beyond borders. Through my pioneering work of hand-painting on real thin-tailed sheepskin, I have always tried to reflect themes of world peace, human connection, and respect for national identity. Art is not just expression—it is a bridge between hearts, cultures, and nations.
The ongoing cycles of conflict in West Asia must come to an end. I sincerely hope that all nations will choose dialogue over destruction, understanding over hostility, and peace over war. The people of this region—and indeed the entire world—deserve a future built on harmony and coexistence.
For Bangladesh, this concern is deeply personal. Many of our citizens are working abroad, and their families live in constant anxiety over their safety. We have already witnessed the tragic loss of Bangladeshi lives due to violence in conflict zones, and we mourn them with deep sorrow.
On this blessed occasion, let us renew our commitment to peace, humanity, and unity.
May Allah accept our prayer, forgive our shortcomings, and grant lasting peace to the world.
Eid Mubarak 🤲🌙
