Alhaz GK Mushahid, an Artist and Researcher, participated in the Qatar International Art Festival 2025 as the sole representative of Bangladesh. Through five years of relentless dedication and research, he has created a groundbreaking chapter in the history of art. He is the world’s first artist to successfully pioneer and apply hand-painted artwork on original sheepskin, introducing an entirely new artistic medium to the global art world.
The Qatar International Art Festival 2025 was held from 7–12 December 2025 at the Katara Cultural Village, Doha, Qatar. The festival brought together more than 400 renowned artists from over 65 countries, making it one of the most prestigious global art platforms. Representing Bangladesh on such an international stage was a matter of great pride for the nation.
In recognition of his participation and artistic innovation, Alhaz GK Mushahid was honored with an Honorary Award and a Certificate of Appreciation. His research and artistic discoveries also received international recognition and were featured in Ivaan Magazine, marking a rare and significant achievement for a Bangladeshi artist.
Beyond artistic innovation, his work focuses on critical global issues such as Climate Change, Human Rights, and World Peace. By painting the national flags of various countries on leather, he seeks to promote global unity and a sense of shared humanity. Through his artwork, he conveys a powerful message for peace to the world:
“We Want World Peace. Our Demand: No War for the Next 100 Years.”
Through this artwork, he calls upon global leaders and international organizations to choose dialogue, humanity, and peace over war and conflict.
