The artwork “Modern Qatar Architect on Sheepskin Canvas” is a tribute to Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, whose leadership played an important role in shaping modern Qatar.
During his leadership, Qatar experienced significant progress in economic development, infrastructure, education, culture, and international relations. His vision contributed to Qatar’s development and growing international recognition.
Alhaz GK Mushahid, an artist, inventor, and researcher, created this portrait to honour Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and preserve the memory of his contributions for future generations. Through his artistic initiative, Alhaz is creating portraits of remarkable personalities from around the world on his innovative Real Thin-Tailed Sheepskin Art Canvas.
Developed through the artist’s research, this distinctive canvas is designed for exceptional durability and the potential to preserve artworks for thousands of years under suitable conditions. It brings together natural materials, artistic creativity, and research-based innovation.
For Alhaz GK Mushahid, art is more than creativity—it is a way to preserve history, honour remarkable personalities, and carry their legacies into the future.
